It is with a broken heart, our family shares that our dad, Armando Naja Paz, has passed away yesterday morning, May 1st at 2:05 AM. For those that were blessed to meet our dad, knew that he was an amazing, truly one a kind human being. He was incredibly courageous, resilient, and kind-hearted. For 35 years he worked doing landscaping to provide for our family and was respected by many. His work ethic was unmatched and his dedication never went unnoticed. To our family he was everything- a great and loving husband ,father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who always showed up when it mattered most.
Our dad was battling many life changing illnesses. From multiple amputations, to diabetes, to chronic heart failure, and ultimately, cancer. Through all of those tough battles, Armando never lost his light, sense of humor and truly never gave up fighting until his very last moment. He was a role model to many and left a lasting impact on all of those who had the pleasure of personally getting to know him. He will forever be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Armando’s health started to complicate suddenly, and all at once, in these past 3 years. Our dad’s passing leaves a huge role and hole to fill. We wish to come together and ask for support during this incredibly difficult time.
As Armando’s family, many of you have reached out to us asking how you can help. We would greatly appreciate your support through this fundraiser. All funds raised will go towards covering his funeral expenses, giving him a proper resting memorial service that he deserves, paying medical debts and up and coming living costs and bills, and ongoing support as we try to navigate life with his absence.

Con el corazón roto, nuestra familia les comunica que nuestro padre, Armando Naja Paz, falleció ayer por la mañana, 1 de mayo, a las 2:05 a. m. Quienes tuvimos la dicha de conocerlo, sabíamos que era un ser humano extraordinario, verdaderamente único. Era increíblemente valiente, resiliente y bondadoso. Durante 35 años trabajó en jardinería para mantener a nuestra familia y era respetado por muchos. Su ética de trabajo era inigualable y su dedicación nunca pasó desapercibida. Para nuestra familia, lo era todo: un gran y amoroso esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano y tío que siempre estuvo presente cuando más lo necesitábamos.
Nuestro padre luchó contra varias enfermedades que le cambiaron la vida. Desde múltiples amputaciones hasta diabetes, insuficiencia cardíaca crónica y, finalmente, cáncer. A pesar de todas esas duras batallas, Armando nunca perdió su alegría, su sentido del humor y nunca se rindió hasta su último momento. Fue un ejemplo a seguir para muchos y dejó una huella imborrable en todos aquellos que tuvieron el placer de conocerlo personalmente. Su familia y amigos lo extrañarán profundamente por siempre.
La salud de Armando comenzó a complicarse repentinamente en los últimos tres años. Su partida deja un gran vacío difícil de llenar. Queremos unirnos y pedirles apoyo durante este momento tan difícil.
Como familia de Armando, muchos de ustedes se han comunicado con nosotros preguntando cómo pueden ayudar. Agradeceríamos enormemente su apoyo a través de esta recaudación de fondos. Todos los fondos recaudados se destinarán a cubrir los gastos de su funeral, brindarle el servicio conmemorativo que se merece, pagar las deudas médicas y los gastos de manutención futuros, así como brindarnos apoyo continuo mientras intentamos sobrellevar la vida sin él.
