We have lost someone incredibly dear to our hearts. Armando—lovingly known as “El Viejón”—was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first. He gave his whole heart to his wife, children, grandchildren, and home. In his neighborhood, he was known for his kindness and warmth. He was always outside working on his home, ready to greet anyone who passed by, and there was always a chair waiting for you to sit, talk, and feel welcome. Being around Armando felt like being at home.

Armando bravely battled liver cancer, a fight he carried with strength and quiet determination. Even on his hardest days, he kept going—wanting to show his family that he was still present, still strong, and still doing what he loved. Rest was never something he chose when it came to caring for those around him.

Because of his illness, Armando was unable to work, and his wife does not currently have an income. As a result, medical bills have continued to grow, and now our family is facing funeral expenses along with the financial burden left behind.
