Just weeks after welcoming our beautiful baby girl, Arianna Taylor, into the world, our lives changed in an instant. She was diagnosed with a large brain tumor causing hydrocephalus and underwent emergency brain surgery. By God’s grace, she made it through surgery, and the neurosurgeon was able to safely remove approximately 30% of the tumor. We are now waiting for pathology results to determine the exact type of tumor and what her treatment plan will look like. Based on what the surgeon saw, we’re hopeful because the possibilities they suspect are treatable with chemotherapy. Right now, our focus is where it needs to be—by Arianna’s bedside. Unfortunately, life outside the hospital doesn’t pause. Being with Arianna means time away from work, frequent travel, and balancing the needs of our three other children. Chris will be traveling back and forth, and my mom has graciously stepped in to care for our children while we remain at the hospital. Her willingness to help has been an incredible blessing, but it also comes with added expenses.

We’re asking for help so we can focus on Arianna’s recovery instead of worrying about how we’ll make it through this difficult season financially. Donations will help cover expenses related to Arianna’s hospitalization and treatment, including: lost income while we’re away from work caring for her, travel, gas, parking, and meals while staying at the hospital, lodging if extended stays become necessary, childcare-related expenses for our three children at home, helping cover the added costs my mom is taking on while caring for our children, household bills and other unexpected expenses that continue during this medical crisis. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps lighten the burden on our family and allows us to remain where Arianna needs us most.
