Arely Hernandez is my friend, co-worker, and tenant. She is an incredible nurse, a devoted mother, and a truly amazing person who brings kindness and care to everyone around her. On December 3rd, 2025, tragedy struck Arely’s family when a fire started in the attic of their home. Thanks to quick action, everyone made it out safely, and the fire department responded swiftly. However, in the early hours of the morning, the fire reignited and destroyed the rest of the house. The fire department determined it was a freak accident caused by electrical issues from squirrels.

Arely, her fiancé and their four children lost everything in the fire. They are now facing the challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch. The funds raised will go directly toward temporary housing, food, clothing, toys, school supplies, and work apparel—helping Arely and her family meet their most urgent needs while they wait for support from the insurance company.
