On Saturday, February 7, 2026, I lost my beautiful sweet baby boy Aqis “Qissy,” who was only 3 years old. As a single mother, this has been the hardest and most heartbreaking experience of my life. I am not only grieving the loss of my baby, but I am also trying to stay strong for my other son, Aris, who just turned 7 four days after his brother’s passing.

Aqis had a rare heart condition, and because of his medical history, I was unable to get life insurance coverage for him despite trying through several companies. I kept getting denied each time, and I couldn’t secure a policy before his passing. Now, I am facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses and trying to get back into the flow of things for my family.
