Apryl Hawkins was more than just my best friend—she was a devoted mother to Ethan who she loved more than anything in this world, a loving sister to Kimberly, Sarah and Shannon, and a cherished daughter to Deborah. Apryl had an infectious laugh, the most fun loving (Hot Pink) personality and the ability to make everyone smile. She had the purest heart and truly loved everyone. Her sudden passing has left a deep void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved her. Apryl was the kind of person who truly lived life to the fullest, whether that was jumping out of planes or going to raves in Red Rocks all while being one of the brightest lights to everyone around her. She brought so much joy and laughter to so many people. To know her, is to love her.
