April Wilson is one of the most giving people I know, always ready to lend a hand or a kind word to those around her. Now, she and her family are facing an unimaginable challenge. As many of you have already heard, on November 9, while out enjoying a buggy ride near Lake Shasta, April was in a terrible accident. A large branch pierced through the floorboard and impaled her left leg, causing severe nerve and muscle damage. She also suffered a serious injury to her arm, resulting in compartment syndrome and requiring several surgeries. April was airlifted twice and underwent emergency procedures, and she is now recovering in the hospital, far from her home and loved ones.
April’s husband, Randy, and her parents have been by her side every step of the way, but being hours from home has brought unexpected expenses. April faces a possible amputation and lengthy hospital stay, with several more surgeries to repair the damage sustained, and months of rehabilitation ahead, with many costs that insurance won’t cover.
April has always given so much to her friends, family, and community. Now, it’s our turn to support her and Randy in their time of need. If you’re able, please consider contributing to help ease their burden and show them how much they are loved. Every donation, message, and share makes a difference. Thank you for being part of April’s support system.
