On January 23 I was diagnosed with a rare blood disease. APL -Acute promyelocytic leukemia, cancer of the white blood cells. On January 24 I was transferred to Roswell Park Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York. Where I still am today, receiving chemotherapy. APL is in fact a treatable cancer so I am only hoping and praying for the best for myself. My main concern now is survival, and being able to make it home healthy.
