As many may know, early this morning , a devastating fire tore through the apartment building above our local pizza shop. Within minutes, the flames spread and everything was lost. Four close friends who lived in two separate apartments escaped with only the clothes they were wearing.

One of them was forced to jump from a second-story window to survive. While we are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out alive, they lost all of their belongings in the fire. Tragically, a well very loved dog, Ricky, did not survive.

In a single morning, they lost their homes, clothing, furniture, personal items, and everything they had worked so hard to build. They are now facing the overwhelming task of starting completely from scratch.

As these are not only neighbours but friends and baseball teammates, we are working as a team to support in any way we can.

While monetary donations are appreciated we also welcome donations of clothing, shoes, toiletries and cat supplies. These donations can be dropped off at Priority Mechanical at 3160 Alps Rd in Ayr ON from 7am-4pm.
