Hello family and friends, my name is Enrique Perez, the youngest son of Antonio Perez. I am creating this GoFundMe fundraiser as an opportunity for those who wish to help the Perez Family during these tough times. Many of our loved ones live in other states and can’t be here with us right now, but I wanted to make sure everyone who wants to support us has the chance. Please don’t feel obligated—if you’re unable to help financially, your prayers and kind thoughts are just as meaningful to us.
My dad has always been a source of strength and love for our family. About 3-4 years ago, he lost his ability to walk on his own, which meant he needed more medical attention and care as he grew older. Despite these challenges, he remained resilient and continued to inspire us with his courage.
On December 8, 2025, our lives changed when my dad became disoriented and unresponsive to our voices. We made the difficult decision to take him to the hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit on December 12, 2025, at midnight. He underwent emergency surgery to relieve severe constipation and bloating, and he has been fighting ever since. As of December 16, 2025, he is now in hospice care/comfort care and has been removed from the ventilator.
We are raising funds to help cover my dad's medical bills and assist with part of the funeral costs, whether it be a traditional burial or cremation. Any support, prayers, or kind words you can offer during this time would mean so much to our family. Thank you for being here for us.
