This past week, Anthony “Chic” Chiccuarelli was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare, fast-moving illness and is nearing end of life.

Understandably, the news has turned life upside down for Anthony and his family. Chic was not only a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, but also a valued member of the Malden community for many years. Whether it be his years working for the City of Malden, or his time spent as a teacher and coach, he’s made a lasting impact on his students, athletes as well as his family and friends.

Those who know him personally know Chic is someone you could always count on. Now we have the chance to show up for him and his family during this time of need.
