Hi, my name is Michalla. I’m the granddaughter of Anneliese Bird who devastatingly passed away this past fall due to a stroke. My grandmother was a very hardworking and feisty woman. She was 87 years old and still held down a job at a camp ground just to be able to make a somewhat livable income. She immigrated to America from Germany as a young woman after living through WW2 and always worked extremely hard and tirelessly for the life she had. Although she did have life insurance, it still wasn’t enough to cover all of the costs that come along with losing a loved one. My parents, siblings, and I are working hard to pay off the funeral home for the remaining balance of her services. It would be so greatly appreciated if anyone could give anything. I know times are hard right now for everyone, and I am putting my ego aside to help my family and to allow my grandmother to rest peacefully knowing that her loved ones don’t have to carry this burden.
