Support for Anneka and Leo

Anneka Wilson was a loving, caring soul whose warmth touched everyone she met. She was known for her stubborn spirit, her zest for life, and her way of living every moment to its fullest. Her turquoise jewelry collection was iconic — she wore each piece with pride, joy, and her own unique style. There are so many people who miss you, Anneka. We love you, and we will always remember your bright, unforgettable spirit.

Anneka loved helping others, and she built her life around it. She worked in an elder-care home and would send videos of herself laughing and smiling with the residents, making sure they felt loved and cared for. She loved being outdoors, spending time with her dog Jax, and she was always the person who showed up when someone needed her.

Anneka adored old country western music, had a deep appreciation for art, and was an amazing artist herself. She was a true traditional cowgirl at heart. Her love for animals and her passion for helping others shined through in everything she did.

Tragically, Anneka’s boyfriend, Leo, passed away with her.

Leo was the kind of person whose presence made everything feel lighter. He had that big-hearted, teddy-bear kindness that wrapped around the people he loved. If he was teasing you, you knew you had a special place in his heart , that was his way of showing love and pulling you close without needing to say the words.

He lived for the simple, real things in life. Some of his happiest moments were hunting birds with his dad and his big brother Rj — early mornings, shared laughs, and quiet memories in the field that meant everything to him. He loved working with his hands, fixing up trucks, getting greasy, and helping on the farm. That was where he shined: doing things that mattered, things that connected him to home and family.

One of the purest parts of Leo was how deeply he loved being an uncle. He didn’t just care about his nieces and nephews — he adored them. He lit up around them, played with them, protected them, and bragged about them like they were his own. They were a huge piece of his heart.

Leo was gentle, warm, and real. A hard worker. A family man. Someone who found joy in good company, good work, and good stories. He loved deeply, lived humbly, and left a mark on every person who had the gift of knowing him. He was one of the truly good ones, and his love, energy, and laughter will stay alive in everyone who held him close.

Anneka’s family and Leo’s family are now facing unimaginable grief and heartbreak. Losing two people so loving, so young, and so full of life has left a pain no family should ever have to experience. Along with the emotional toll, the costs of memorial services and the support both families need moving forward are significant. This fundraiser has been created to help them with whatever they may need — whether it’s covering memorial expenses or giving them support and comfort as they try to heal.

We ask for your kindness, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Both families ,Anneka’s and Leo’s ,are loving, strong, and filled with good hearts. They are suffering from something they could not control. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help honor Anneka’s and Leo’s memory and support their families as they navigate this heartbreaking loss. Thank you for caring and for being part of this community of support.
