It is with a profoundly heavy heart that I reach out to you today, asking for your kindness and support for our cherished colleague, Anne Dolan. Just two years ago, Anne endured the unimaginable pain of losing her daughter, Lizzy, to cystic fibrosis. Many of you stood by her side then, offering comfort and generosity during her darkest days. Now, Anne and her children, Susan and Matt, are facing another devastating loss.

On Friday, October 31st, Anne’s beloved husband, Matthew, was unexpectedly taken from them by a catastrophic stroke, just a week after a surgical procedure. In the span of such a short time, Anne has lost both her daughter and husband, the love of her life. Matthew was not only a devoted husband and father — he was the unwavering foundation of the Dolan family.

The weight of this grief is impossible to comprehend. Anne is left to navigate a world forever changed, struggling to find her footing while carrying the burden of funeral expenses, medical bills, and the essential costs of daily living. She needs time to heal, and I would like to help alleviate the financial strain that could overshadow her chance to grieve and recover in the weeks ahead. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help lift some of the immense worry from Anne’s shoulders.
