It is with enormous love and great tenderness that we put forth this request for help for our beloved Anna Ulehla as she grapples with unexpected and very significant health issues.

She is currently unable to be able to respond at present because she needs to focus her energy and attention into her own healing. ***
 
Most of you know Anna well, but for those of you who don’t, know she is a remarkable, strong, intelligent, loving woman. She is a loving single parent, a gifted herbalist, a business woman and devoted friend and family member. She lives in Warburton with her children, her dog Nelly, chickens and quails and cultivates a beautiful medicinal and food garden. She is deeply loved and appreciated by her community.

Whilst at this stage it remains inconclusive as to what it is exactly that Anna is contending with, it is highly likely that what has developed is a sarcoma, a rare type of tumour. It is taking everything Anna has to be reckoning with this experience, while doctors work to diagnose her condition and create a treatment plan for her to move forward with.

We are astounded at Anna’s strength and courage as she fiercely advocates for her health and well-being and weaves her own magical healing wisdom into all that she is contending with.

Whilst Anna grapples with an extraordinary amount of pain, we as her community are gathering around her to offer as much help as is possible.

We are now putting a wider call out for urgent support as Anna’s needs become clearer.

Funds raised are needed for:
- full time nursing
- mental health support
- integrative, herbal and natural therapies
- medical bills
- patient accommodation near hospital when a treatment plan comes into place
- ongoing home bills
- child care support
- physiotherapy

Having some financial security is critical to Anna’s wellbeing and ability to navigate the journey ahead with minimal stress. She has not been able to work since December.

Whilst we are opening up to share this news in order to further support Anna at this time of great need, we also ask that Anna’s privacy remain a priority and that her children are as protected from distress as is possible. If you do see the children Anna requests that the greatest of care is taken not to disturb them with talk of Anna’s condition and to please refrain from using words like cancer with them.

Many have been asking how you can practically help and your desire to help is so welcome. At present, Anna has a small group that is providing meals and care to Anna and helping with her animals’ welfare. When that changes we will let you know.

For now, the most practical assistance that you can give is financial support. Please consider what feels right for your family budget. For example an upfront donation or making a note in your diary to come back and make monthly contributions.

Our deepest thanks for your offering to assist in Anna’s treatment, medical care and the costs of her recovery. Your support will make such a huge difference to Anna.
