Angeli spent her life taking care of everyone around her: her parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, and especially her husband, Mark, who went through triple bypass surgery in August of last year. She always put everybody’s needs before her own.
In February of this year, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroendocrine cancer. What began as a simple screening ended up changing her life and her loved ones' in less than one month. Angeli is now considered terminal, with medical intervention no longer possible given the rapid spread of the disease. As of March 17, her family was informed she has weeks, if not days, left with her family.
Aside from her family and loved ones, the most important part of her life is her faith. Until the very end, she maintains her faith that she and her family will always be taken care of by God.
Since February 17th, Angeli and her family have had less than a few weeks to process and overcome all of the obstacles that come with terminal cancer. One of those obstacles, of course, is being financially prepared for funeral expenses that came with this sudden and unexpected outcome. We are reaching out to those who knew Angeli—her vibrance, kindness, and selflessness—to ask for their consideration in assisting her surviving family with the financial burden they are now faced with.
We are so thankful for the outpouring of love and support that her family has already received from those who knew and loved Angeli best.
With Thankful Hearts,
The Nelson and Balcita Families
