Support for Angelique Bucciarelli & Family

If you have the pleasure of knowing Angelique Ambrosano Bucciarelli, you know that she exudes fun, positivity, and kindness. She’s a loyal mom, daughter, friend, and dance teacher who is loved by so many. She is simply a joy to be around.

In January, Angelique went to the emergency room after experiencing unusual symptoms of confusion and disorientation. After weeks of testing, the doctors diagnosed Angelique with both Uterine Cancer and a rare form of Paraneoplastic Syndrome. This condition, triggered by the tumor, is an auto-immune response that is affecting Angelique’s nervous system. Doctors have started treatments for both conditions, but Angelique and her family have a long road of medical care ahead, including chemotherapy and radiation.

Understandably, this has been very difficult on Angelique’s family, compounding on a tough few years. As many of you know, Angelique lost both her husband and her mother within the past 5 years and recently has been the primary caretaker of her sick father. Angelique’s 25-year old daughters, Ariana and Alexa, are her world, and these hardships, although difficult, have brought them even closer. Now with Angelique’s health issues, the family caretaking, medical decisions, and other responsibilities have fallen mostly on Alexa. This journey has been and will be physically and emotionally exhausting for Alexa and Ariana, and the care that their mom needs will be complex and financially straining.

Together, the faculty and staff at Orlandi Dance Center and Angelique’s friends hope to help ease the financial burden for the Bucciarellis. Angelique would be the first person to offer help in someone’s time of need. So we want to make sure that she and her family know that they are not alone and are surrounded by love and support. If you are able to donate, your contribution will help cover essential expenses such as medical bills, living expenses, groceries, and other daily necessities. We hope this will allow them to focus on Angelique’s treatment and recovery without added financial stress. No donation is too small and your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
