My family is going through an incredibly difficult time after losing our mother, Angela, to stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. She was only diagnosed a month before, and her loss has left her two daughters, son, and four grandchildren heartbroken and overwhelmed. With so little time to prepare, many of Angela’s expenses remain unpaid, and her family is now working together to honor her memory and care for her loved ones.

Right now, the most urgent need is to cover the rent for Angela’s house for the next month to ensure we have time figuring out her belongings. This will give us time to sort through her belongings and figure out the next steps, while also making sure any immediate bills are paid. Anything left after these expenses will be set aside to support Angela’s grandchildren, helping to provide for their future in her absence.
