Early Thursday morning, January 8, our hearts were shaken as our precious sister in Christ, Angela Coleman, entered eternal rest in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
Angela was a true gift to all the lives she touched. Angela was an incredible Spanish teacher at Mount Paran Christian School for almost 15 years. She poured her heart and soul into her students, serving with humility and joy, and she lived out her faith daily through kindness, wisdom, and genuine care for others. Her tremendous impact on our students, colleagues, and families will live on.
Angela leaves behind a strong and faithful husband, Jason Coleman and the two most amazing children, Katie Rose and Harrison. Katie Rose is a senior at Mount Paran Christian School and Harrison is a senior at the University of Georgia.
In this heartbreaking moment, our deepest wish is to wrap her family in the love, care, and practical support they need as they navigate this loss and begin to find their footing without her. We are also hoping to create a heartfelt memorial that celebrates her beautiful spirit and the love she so generously shared with everyone around her.
The gifts given will help support the Coleman family with immediate needs related to her tragic passing, medical expenses related to Jason's cancer journey, as well as future college costs. We pray they are a gentle reminder of how deeply they are loved and continually lifted in prayer. Any amount, no matter how small, will go directly toward supporting her family. If you are not able to donate, sharing this page with others is deeply appreciated.
A mass and celebration of life service will be held January 24 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 87 Lacy Street in Marietta. In lieu of flowers, a special scholarship has been set up in her name.
