On the 25th of August, during the first lap of the Classic Lightweight TT, Andy Whale was involved in a serious crash. He sustained head and neck injuries, including a severe concussion and fractures to his C1 and C2 vertebrae.

After being transferred to Liverpool Hospital, Andy underwent surgery and now has a halo fixation fitted to stabilise his neck injuries. He will need to wear this for 3 months or longer, and recovery from this type of injury can take over a year.

This is a long and difficult road ahead for Andy, both physically and financially. Any help, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
