Support for Andy Gordon and his beautiful family.

This story is about how we shouldn't ever take a single moment for granted. Andy was living a vibrant life.

On June 23rd, 2022, the Gordon's world turned upside down when tumors were discovered on Andy's liver. Within days he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer). This is an extremely rare and somewhat silent cancer until it's not. At the time of diagnosis, cancer had already spread to other areas of Andy's body, including his bones, liver, and gall bladder. Because of this, his body isn't well enough to receive any treatment. Andy has spent the last week in the hospital. Today he was released to come home and be with his family. He has been given weeks to live. Andy is 45.

Andy is the type of guy you want in your life. He is solid gold. An extremely devout husband, father, friend and coworker. His selflessness is something we should all learn from. To know him is a gift.

Jamie and Andy have known one another since middle school. This is where Andy's love began for Jamie. They started dating 20 years ago and have been married for 17. They have two beautiful daughters together. Veda, who is 13, and Frankie, who turns 10 this month. They are each other's best friends and soul mates. As a friend of both, watching how they love each other has enriched my life in ways that I will forever hold in my heart.

I started this fundraiser because no one should have to go through what they are going through. The financial burdens terminal illness places on families is entirely unfair. Their lives have been uprooted. All proceeds will go to Jamie Gordon to help bridge the gap in any of Andy's medical and memorial expenses. They will also allow Jamie, Veda, and Frankie to grieve the loss of their beautiful husband and father without the stress of how ends are going to be met. Any amount is welcome.
