Hello everyone my name is Jazmin Pickering and I just want to say that It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Andy Castillo, a truly kind and loving man who touched so many lives. Andy was like a grandpa to me and he was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome. His home was always open, and his heart even more so. If you knew Andy, you knew his warmth, his smile, and his genuine care for others. He believed in showing up for people, and he did that every single day.
I will always remember when I was in high school cheer, Andy and his lovely wife Marie would let us come and stay at their home when we had state competitions and we would have dinner at their table and talk about life and everything we were grateful for, we would go shopping at the mall and get our favorite candies and split it with each other, that will always be my favorite memory with Andy.
He was a devoted husband and a loving father who cherished his family deeply. Everything he did every long day of work, every sacrifice was for the people he loved most. Andy worked hard throughout his life until retirement, always providing, always giving, and always putting others before himself.
Andy was a man of faith, he always carried his Catholic beliefs with quiet strength and kindness. He lived his life with compassion, humility, and love values that will continue to live on through his family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Now, his family is facing the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye while also managing the unexpected financial burdens that come with this loss.
We are asking for support to help ease the cost of funeral services and to give his family the space to grieve without added stress. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward honoring Andy’s life and supporting the loved ones he leaves behind.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping the Castillo family in your prayers means just as much.
Andy’s journey here may have ended, but his love, his kindness, and his impact will never be forgotten.
Thank you for your support, love, and prayers.
