Hi, my name is April. My parents had the house fire on Union Street in Shawano. Sadly, my mom did not make it out; however, she did pass peacefully. My dad, Andy, was able to make it out. He did have burns and blisters on top of his head, and he has second-degree burns on his right shoulder and arm, and some blisters on his right hand, along with smoke inhalation. Their dog, Spyder, also made it out! Andy is a 100% disabled veteran through the Army. He lost his wife and his whole entire life. Everything that they owned was in that house. We will have to replace everything for him: household items, cleaning supplies, clothing, shoes, dog food, food, and everything else in between.
Andy wears a size medium to large shirts. He wears a waist 32 pants and a size 10 shoe.
We do have an account set up in Shawano at Lebakkens for furniture to be replaced. If anyone would like to help with that, it would be so greatly appreciated.
Any money that is donated to Andy will go directly to whatever it is that he will need, whether it be food, clothes, or stuff for housing.
Any money that would be donated for funeral costs would also be greatly appreciated. If anybody would like to help with that, you can contact Simply Cremations out of Green Bay and it would go to Nancy Mross. We have been working with Matt.
We will be so grateful for whatever help we may get. We thank our community for all their love and support that they have already shown us.
we have Lebakkens in Shawano set up as a donation site for anything that someone would like to donate to Andy or Spyder.
