Andrew Dupre’s life changed dramatically on December 27, 2024, when he made the brave decision to confront his declining health. For months, he had struggled with chronic high blood pressure, severe headaches, unexplained weight gain, mood swings, and persistent swelling and pain in his legs, feet, and hands. Despite making healthy lifestyle changes, Andrew’s symptoms only worsened, leaving him exhausted and concerned for his future. Taking a leave from work to focus on his health, he was soon diagnosed with a benign tumor on his pituitary gland. This marked the beginning of a long journey through countless medical appointments and referrals to specialists. Over the next year, Andrew learned he was facing not only the tumor but also MEN1 syndrome, hemochromatosis, obstructive sleep apnea, and heart disease. On March 9, 2026, he underwent a quintuple open heart bypass surgery—a major operation that has left him in need of extensive recovery and ongoing care. Since the bypass surgery, Andrew has developed blood clots in his leg, one of which is particularly concerning and may require another surgery. The financial impact has been overwhelming. With his employee and unemployment benefits exhausted, and all family savings depleted, Andrew’s wife and son have stepped in as caregivers, but their combined income is not enough to cover the mounting medical and household expenses. The family is now facing a critical time as Andrew recovers from surgery, attends cardiac rehab, and continues treatment for his tumor, all while waiting for a permanent disability determination and exploring what work may be possible in the future. Your support can make a real difference for Andrew and his family. Donations will help cover urgent medical bills, daily living costs, and travel to essential medical appointments. Any financial assistance is deeply appreciated, and sharing this fundraiser is another way to help. Thank you for standing with Andrew and his loved ones during this challenging time.
