My name is Jen. Just over a month ago, my father passed away unexpectedly. Two weeks later, we found out that my handicapped brother, Andrew, had cancer. Shortly after that, we learned it had already metastasized and is very aggressive. Our family had to make the decision to put him on hospice care. We wanted quality over quantity. We are now having to pay for two funerals in such a short amount of time. My wish is to make things easier on my poor mother and not have to worry about how she is going to pay for two services back to back. Our family does not like to ask for help as we know everyone is going through hard times. The funds will be used to help pay for services and help cover bills for my siblings and I so we can spend as much time with Andrew as possible.

Andrew was diagnosed with CP as a young toddler. He surpassed his life expectancy by miles! Andrew is a bright light for many. His contagious smile will light up a room. His laughter and jokes will make you laugh until you cry. His favorite things are handshakes, Oreos, motorcycles, drawing, and many other things. He loves to help staff take out the trash and bake cookies. The impact he has made on not only our family but our community is beautiful. He has lived a beautiful life and God decided that it’s almost time for him to join our dad up in heaven. I can just picture him running into the arms of Jesus with no more pain.
