Andrew tragically lost his life on New Year’s Day as the result of a reckless motorcycle driver. He was only 22 years old. Andrew fought bravely for his life, but despite every effort, he succumbed to his life-threatening injuries. His passing was sudden, senseless, and has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Andrew was deeply loved by his family, his friends, and his long-term girlfriend. He was just months away from graduating this May and was on a clear path toward achieving his lifelong dream of becoming a commercial pilot. As an Eagle Scout, Andrew lived by the values of integrity, service, and leadership—principles that guided him throughout his life and were evident in the way he treated others. His future was bright, and his loss is devastating.

To know Andrew was to love him. He was kind, warm, and had a way of lighting up every room he walked into. He gave so much of himself to others, pouring his heart into everything he did and offering love freely and wholeheartedly. Andrew made people feel seen, supported, and cared for, and his absence is felt deeply by all whose lives he touched.

Andrew’s parents and sister are now facing life without a beloved son and brother—an unthinkable reality brought on by this tragic and preventable loss. As they grieve, they are also faced with overwhelming and unexpected funeral expenses.
