Friend and community member Andrew Lehne has recently been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) — a rare and serious condition that came on suddenly and has progressed rapidly.

Andrew is currently in the ICU in Geelong, where he is on a ventilator to help him breathe. His recovery will take time, and for now, his family is taking things one day at a time.

As many in the Port Fairy community know, Andrew is a devoted husband, father, friend, and small business owner who is always the first to lend a hand and support others. Now, it’s our turn to rally around him and his family.

With Andrew unable to work and Lucy taking time off to be by his side, the family is facing significant financial challenges — including lost income, medical expenses, and ongoing travel costs.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease that burden, allowing Andrew, Lucy, and their children Ava and Hudson to focus on what matters most — Andrew’s recovery.
