My name is Estefania Gallardo Bledsoe, and my family is living through the most painful moment of our lives.
On Sunday, March 1, 2026, at approximately 11:33 p.m., my brother Andrés Luis Gallardo Bledsoe was the victim of a tragic hit-and-run at the intersection of Ashford Street and Hatten Street. The person responsible left the scene, and to this day we still have no answers.
Andrés was not only my brother — he was a father, a son, and someone deeply loved by the people around him. He leaves behind a 16-year-old son who is now without his father. Our mother is in very poor health and has not been able to travel to say goodbye to her son, which has made this tragedy even more heartbreaking for our family.
We are also facing the difficult reality of covering funeral expenses and trying to fulfill our wish of taking Andrés’ ashes to his loved ones. We hope to travel to bring his ashes to his mother in West Virginia and to his father in the Magallanes region of Chile, so they can say their final goodbye.
Our circle of family and friends is very small, and right now we truly need help. We are humbly asking for financial support to help cover funeral costs and travel expenses during this devastating time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help our family tremendously.
We are also asking the community for help in finding the person responsible. If anyone lives near the intersection of Ashford Street and Hatten Street and has security cameras from homes, businesses, or vehicles between 11:15 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. on March 1, please check your footage. Even the smallest detail could help bring justice for Andrés.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
