Hi, my name is Natasha Howell, and I’m raising funds for my stepmother Andrea Deguire and my father Rob Howell during an incredibly difficult time for our family

In November 2024, Andrea was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma and was devastatingly given a prognosis of about a year to live. Despite the odds, Andrea refused to give up. She faced treatment head-on and fought with everything she had.

In September 2025, Andrea received another heartbreaking diagnosis—an aggressive and fast-moving cancer. She underwent a 9-hour surgery, which was successful, and continued on with treatments, determined to keep fighting. Just a few days before Christmas, our family received the news we feared most: the cancer has now spread to her brain.

During this time, my father has been fully devoted to supporting Andrea—attending appointments, being present through hospital stays, and caring for her on difficult days. Unfortunately, he is laid off as of the first week of January with no work available since December 22nd, and due to the circumstances surrounding his time away from work, he does not qualify for unemployment.

They are currently in the process of applying for disability, but as many know, that process takes time—and bills don’t wait.

Right now, they need help covering:

*Everyday living expenses and household bills

*Fuel and travel costs for frequent treatments and doctor visits

*Basic necessities while income is unavailable

Andrea and my dad have always been strong, loving, and giving people. Asking for help is not easy for them, but they truly need it right now. Any donation—no matter how small—will make a difference and be deeply appreciated.
