Support for Daniel and Quinn in the wake of Andrea's passing

Andrea doesn't want you to think of her as a sick person. That's because she's a baddass, who's always on top of things, ever the one taking care of others. But in point of fact, she's been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. And while she remains a baddass, with an infectious burst of laughter, now is a time when we can rally our support around her.

Right now Andrea is feeling good and she and Daniel are positive and hopeful. But they've already incurred a lot of out-of-pocket expenses relating to her diagnosis. They did an urgent round of IVF, in the hopes of expanding their gorgeous family despite this setback, and a trip to NIH in DC for an amazing opportunity to partake in a clinical trial in immunotherapy, in addition to recently starting chemo and plans for multiple other experimental treatments.

There is a lot we're all still learning about life with stage 4 breast cancer, but one thing we know for sure is that it's a marathon. Each of the amazing opportunities Andrea finds to combat her diagnosis means a loss of work time, often a need for travel, extra childcare needs for their 2-year-old Quinn, and more. Our hope is that offering financial support will allow Andrea, Daniel and Quinn to focus on what's most important - healing and continuing their beautiful life together, with as many busts of laughter as possible.
