Funds for Andrea and Todd

Last week Andrea Grizzle and Todd Weathers lost their 5 month old baby boy, Jackson. Here are her words:  "It is with a heavy heart that I announce the worst news that any parent could ever imagine. Yesterday morning I woke up to check on my son in his crib. His blanket got completely wrapped around his face during the night. I removed the blanket and he was completely limp in my arms. I did CPR until the first responders arrived. He lost oxygen in the night. No mother should ever experience this kind of pain. I have waited 35 years to have my baby and he was so perfect, sweet and precious in every way. Todd Weathers and I adored him. He was our world. The pain we feel is unbearable. I miss him so much and I have no idea how I’ll get through this. Please pray for us! I’m posting pictures of him for memories. I would give anything to have him back! My heart is completely broken."








The memorial service was this week, and following the service, Andrea and Todd were told that someone had generously covered the full cost! They are so grateful for that, and the additional support they have gotten from family, friends, and the community. 

Let's continue to help support them as they grieve for baby Jackson. This is a tragic accident that could have happened to any one of us, and we'd love to shower them with support. Todd and Andrea will both be taking unpaid bereavement leave for a few weeks, and all monies collected here will help them during that time.
