Andrea's strength as she tackles cancer comes as no surprise to those of us who know her. While the first phase of this fight, her chemo treatments, is coming to an end in a few weeks, she is mentally preparing for the next phase this spring, which includes surgery.
To support her daughter through that process and recovery, Andrea's mom Kathleen plans to visit Portland for a month in April and May from her home in Chicago. While here, she will also help Ben with Sadie and Saul, adding a layer of love and routine (and food!) to their lives. What a gift.
But Kathleen's stay has a price tag, and it’s a bit high for her to manage on her own. To ease her mind and extend her stay at a nearby Airbnb, we are gathering together to contribute what we can. We want her here, focused on Andrea’s mental and physical health. If you can help, please do. Any amount counts! One thing we know: it always takes a village. Thanks for being part of Andrea’s.
