Andre and Chris Swanson have always been there for their friends and family, and now they are facing one of the toughest challenges of their lives. Andre, a dear friend to many—including my husband, who went to school with him in California—has recently been hospitalized with a series of serious health issues.

After not feeling well for about a week, Andre was taken to the ER on January 23rd, where he was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. During testing, doctors discovered that he had suffered a heart attack and was facing a much more severe heart condition than anyone had expected. He was quickly transferred to a larger hospital, where he remains in the ICU.

Andre has undergone multiple procedures, including open-heart surgery. He was sent home on Monday the 9th, but his organs began shutting down, which sent him back to the ICU on Wednesday, February 11th. Doctors are still working to keep him stable, as he has coded several times since Wednesday.

This situation has put an enormous strain on Andre and Chris. Both are self-employed, and with Andre in the hospital and Chris faithfully by his side, you can imagine the financial strain this has placed on them. The burden of not being able to work together at the shop, along with stress of daily living expenses, is overwhelming. They need our help now more than ever.
