Support for Ana Maria, Sean, and In-Laws Post-Flood

I am starting this Go Fund page to help me and my husband, Sean, and my in-laws, John and Gail. Tropical Storm Debbie hit Sarasota on Sunday and by that afternoon, our home began to flood. We waded through the flood waters to the back of the neighborhood with a bag and our cat, Luna, to my in-laws' home. They were dry until about midnight when their home began to flood. My mother-in-law, Gail, is 86 and in a wheelchair but can walk a few feet. My father-in-law is 85 and needs a cane at times.

We need to get them in a safe location and then begin to get both our homes restored. None of us have flood insurance as we were in a flood-free zone and it was not required. We all have nothing but what we could put in small bags to be airboated out of the neighborhood. We have lived here for over 20 years and gone through 3 hurricanes and it has never flooded like this. We appreciate anything you are able to give as we navigate this nightmare situation. Your donations will provide emergency relief, covering our immediate needs like food, shelter, and supplies. We don't know when we will be able to get back in our homes to salvage what we can.
