Hello, my name is Carter, the husband of Pearl (Swackhammer) Pries. Yesterday afternoon during a snow squall Pearl’s mother, Amy Swackhammer was involved in a horrific accident on Rt. 6 between Troy and Towanda, where she was struck head on by a vehicle which lost control

in the snow.

Amy was airlifted to the hospital last evening however despite lifesaving efforts she sadly passed away from her injuries this morning.

Not only must Pearl and her brother Robert grieve the loss of their mother, they must both now figure out how to handle funeral costs, and final expenses - which at this point will be out of pocket. Both of our families are single income households with children and this will prove to be challenging.

Any help to offset these costs is greatly appreciated.
