Amy Plotts, a 19-year-old teen/vulnerable adult, went missing from her family home in Farmington late on Saturday, Jan 3rd. She took a rideshare service to the Wabasha Street Bridge in St. Paul and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Authorities in Farmington and St. Paul are both searching for Amy, with water search and rescue boats entering the Mississippi on 1/7/26. At this time, there have been no sightings of Amy beyond late Saturday night at the bridge, and she has still not been found.

Amy's close, tight-knit family is understandably beyond distraught and devastated. Amy's mother, Li, has been off work as a travel nurse since the disappearance. Li and her older daughter have been driving back and forth between Farmington and St. Paul multiple times a day, handing out fliers and walking miles around the city, looking for any sign of Amy. Amy's two younger brothers are missing their sister immensely.

We are hoping and praying for Amy's safe return, however, the reality of her absence and all that comes along with it is setting in. Expenses are starting to accumulate and unpaid time away from work is starting to impact the family.

We've created a GoFundMe for Amy's immediate family, to support her mother Li, and her siblings during this time. Funds will be used for meals, travel, medical expenses, lost wages, and future expenses that will inevitably arise, no matter the outcome. We'd like to be able to give Li and her family a financial cushion and support, so they can take all the time they need to focus on the search for Amy and taking care of each other, without financial worry.
