On what started as a normal workday, our lives changed in an instant.

While driving from one job to another on Tuesday, my husband suddenly became seriously ill behind the wheel. He

began struggling to swallow and see clearly, sweating heavily, and describing intense burning pain throughout his

joints and body. His lower back pain became unbearable, and certain movements caused his legs to go numb or sent

sharp pain shooting all the way to the base of his skull.

I quickly helped him pull over, moved him into the passenger seat, and rushed him to a top trauma hospital as fast as I

could.

What followed were five terrifying days in the hospital filled with tests, uncertainty, fear, and unanswered questions.

Even after extensive testing, doctors still do not know exactly what is causing these frightening symptoms. A

neurological team was involved in his care, and we now have to continue with ongoing specialist appointments and

medical evaluations in hopes of finally getting answers and proper treatment.

Since leaving the hospital, his condition has become even more concerning. The shaking in his right hand and arm

has continued, and now his right leg and ankle are also beginning to shake uncontrollably.

At this time, my husband is unable to work.

We are a hardworking couple who run a small cattle farm and our own business completely on our own, without

employees or outside help. Normally, we manage everything together, caring for our animals, keeping our business

running, paying our bills, and helping others whenever we can.

But right now, we are overwhelmed.

As medical appointments, travel expenses, and daily responsibilities continue to pile up, we are struggling to keep up

with:

• Mortgage payments

• Truck payments

• Utility bills

• Medical travel expenses

• Hay and feed for our cattle

• Groceries and daily living costs

Asking for help is not easy for us. We have always been the people others could count on, helping friends, neighbors,

family members, and even strangers during difficult times. We truly believe in showing kindness whenever we can

because life can become hard for anyone without warning.

Now, we are the ones in need of support.

search for answers and focus on my husband’s health and recovery.
