My name is Stacey Wieczorek, and my cousin is Amanda (Wieczorek) Zearfoss, who recently lost her husband, Corey Zearfoss, in a tragic drowning accident on Lake Erie on July 8th.

Corey was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson, and friend to many, as well as a talented contractor and an avid fisherman and hunter with a great passion for the outdoors. He was the kind of person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand, generously sharing his talents, knowledge, and expertise with anyone who needed him. Whether it was a family member, friend, or neighbor, Corey was always there to help without expecting anything in return.

Corey did not have life insurance, and the family is in need of funds to help pay for his funeral costs and burial. Additionally, due to the circumstances, Amanda has been off work, and the bills are piling up as she looks ahead to put the pieces of her life back together without the love of her life - a love story that spanned more than 30 years.

The family is grateful for all of the support, assistance, love, and prayers that went into bringing Corey home. Let’s help them put Corey to rest and ease their financial burdens as they say their final goodbyes to someone who meant so much to so many.
