Help for Aloy's Family Amidst Grief
Donation protected
My fiance and I adopted Aloy as a 3-month-old kitten in February of 2017, and she immediately carved out a place in our hearts with her tiny body and even tinier meows.

She was an out of season kitten who struggled against a severe ringworm infection before we adopted her, and in recent years she faced several health struggles, including bladder stones and asthma. She continued to be a happy and affectionate cat, though, and we loved her very dearly.

Sadly, last month, Aloy's health declined very suddenly, and even with extreme medical intervention, her condition did not improve. My fiance and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep so that she wasn't in pain and struggling to breathe anymore. Her place in our hearts sits empty, and we miss her every day.

Our family's finances were already pushed to the limit due to human related health issues earlier in the year, so the cost of Aloy's end-of-life care is a burden we are struggling to shoulder. We are moving to a new apartment, and the stress of moving costs, double rent, and the multiple medical and vet bills is taking its toll on our health during an already difficult time of grief. We would greatly appreciate any help you can give us.
Thank you to the veterinarians and support staff that treated Aloy and us with such care and compassion at the end of her life, and thank you to Aloy for bringing us 7 wonderful years of memories and love.
