On Friday January 2nd, 2025, Allison Coppock, 47, passed away at 2:38 p.m. at Halifax Hospital to be with the Lord and also to be with her dad and mother. Allison leaves behind two children, one daughter and one son, and her sister Megan Coppock, who resides in Australia and is unable to be here because of financial burden.

In 2019, Allison was diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to a bad valve on her heart. Six years later, she decided to get her surgery done to get a new mechanical valve, a pacemaker, and a defibrillator. Since the surgery 7 months ago, she has had major complications. She coded fourtimes, she has also been experiencing a lot of water retention weight in her lungs, heart, and her legs. I had to admit her to Halifax Hospital to find out what the problem was. Then she had a heart attack while at Halifax and coded longer than she should have, and then experienced organ failure to her kidneys and heart. So now they had to put her on life support, bypass her kidneys, and put her on dialysis. They gave her nine bags of medicine for her heart, two blood transfusions which would bring up the heart beat, and the others were sedation drugs. After a while, the liver started to shut down because of so many medications. She literally turned yellow. Shortly thereafter, it seemed as though she was not getting better I was loosing hope. All I could do was hold her hand and cryout to God and hope she woul pull through. Not expecting it to come so soon, my love Allison passed away and went to be with the Lord.

Now I pick up all the broken pieces. I am a small business owner. After a year and a half of being in business, this is the slowest I've ever been in business because of the holidays. Not to mention it's the first week of January, rent is due on top of the other bills that have to be met. I am very scared that I will lose our home and our cats, which we've had since they were born. Also, Megan Coppock, who is Allison's sister, is trying to make ends meet and fly to Florida from Australia to bury her sister and to collect important possessions that Allison has left behind.

I am taking donations to help financially with what I mentioned above, which would be the burial bill, a plane ticket for her sister Megan to come down here and attend the ceremony from Australia, and also to help with living conditions and keep our home going. I don't want to give up, and I know Allison wouldn't want me to give up. Thank you for your support and your concern. May you be blessed.
