Hello to all, I am Jennifer Murray, adopted cousin of Alicia Warwick. Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider your donation.
On December 14th, '24, just before 10 pm, the world lost a light. Alicia was a mother, a sister, a daughter, a cousin, a friend, an aunt, and so many other wonderful things; there truly aren’t enough words to write. To know her was to love her. If you weren’t in a good mood or smiling before being with her, about 5 minutes was all she needed to change your perspective. Nothing will be the same without her.
In the midst of her loss, Jason, Roy and Alicia’s son, was critically wounded in the crash. He is in the PICU unit at Wesley. He has a fracture in his neck (C5) and will have surgery Tuesday. His orbital sockets are fractured, as well as his forehead, and he has a brain bleed and blood in his right lung. Needless to say, his medical bills will be astronomical, and his dad will have to miss work to care for him.
This fundraiser will be used to cover any necessary costs for Alicia’s funeral wishes and the rest to go to Roy to care for his son. Anything you can do to help is certainly appreciated—monetary, thoughts, and prayers—all are needed. I can’t imagine the emotions Roy is going through. Please help us release the financial burden from his list of worries. If you cannot give, share, share, share; pray, pray, pray! This family needs a village right now.
