Hi everyone, my name is Aaron. I’m raising funds to help cover final expenses for my mother, Alicia, who passed away on January 3 in Monroe, Connecticut.

Alicia did not have a will, and her estate will not be able to cover all of the costs associated with her passing. The immediate expense is the cremation, which is $3,838.

We set a goal of $5,000 to help cover the cremation and other urgent, time-sensitive costs, including:

Cremation and funeral home costs ($3,838)

Certified death certificates (needed to handle remaining affairs)

Immediate apartment/belongings expenses (basic clean-out/storage/transport as we manage her estate)

Reimbursing my sister Natalie for last-minute travel to Connecticut to help handle arrangements

If funds exceed what we ultimately need, any remaining money will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a charity that meant a lot to my mom and gave her warmth and hope.
