On Thanksgiving night, November 27th, 2025, my niece Alicia Corbett and her family were involved in a devastating motor vehicle accident as they returned home from a holiday gathering. Tragically, Alicia did not survive the accident and received her Angel wings that night. Her boyfriend was treated for non-life threatening injuries, but Alicia’s two young children—a 7-year-old son and a 1.5-month-old daughter—remain in the hospital, where they are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Alicia was a caring person and a devoted mother. Her children were her world, and she poured her heart into giving them love and support. She had a passion for horseback riding and loved competing, but her greatest joy was playing softball. Alicia played on multiple teams and at tournaments, always bringing her energy and spirit to the field. She was also a loving big sister to her brother, who is autistic, and to her younger sister, always looking out for her family with kindness and strength.
We are raising funds to help cover Alicia’s funeral expenses and to support the ongoing medical care for her children as they recover. Any support you can give—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser—will help Alicia’s family through this heartbreaking time. Your kindness and generosity will help us honor Alicia’s memory and ensure her children receive the care they need.
