Our coworker Luis Fernandez from Martin Environmental Services, LLC and his family need our support. Luis’s significant other, Alejandrina “Ali” Acevedo, just 36 years old, has been diagnosed with ovarian and colon cancer. During this incredibly difficult time, Luis and Ali are focusing on spending as much meaningful time as possible with their two boys — Isaiah (8) and Nathaniel (12).

Since October 2022, the family has faced mounting medical bills from various treatments. Ali has received care locally in the Capital District of New York for the past four years. With Luis as the only income in the family, he has needed to spend additional time at home to care for Ali and their boys, making it even more challenging to keep up with expenses.

We are asking our friends, family, and community to come together to help support them. Donations will help cover medical bills, household expenses, and funeral arrangements for the family during this difficult time.
