My name is Maria, and I am reaching out on behalf of my brother, Alfredo Ramírez. On November 18th, 2025, Alfredo suffered a devastating incident at work that left him in critical condition. He is currently on life support, relying on mechanical ventilation and intensive care to keep him stable. Watching someone you love fight for their life is an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and it’s been incredibly hard for both of us.

Alfredo and I are siblings, and we’ve always leaned on each other through life’s challenges. Now, with very few programs or resources available in our area, we are facing this crisis together. The hospital is doing everything they can, but they require a minimum daily payment to continue Alfredo’s care. The costs are overwhelming, and every day brings new expenses for his medical bills and treatments. We are also in the process of applying for a visa for our mom, hoping she can come be with us and see her son during this difficult time.
