Support for Alexis Pira(Shea)
Donation protected
After 8 years and 3 cats, Tanner Shea and Alexis Pira eloped on June 20, 2020. As COVID hit the US, Tanner and Alexis postponed their wedding reception. A few weeks ago, Tanner passed away suddenly.
After being furloughed on October 1st, Alexis now faces the challenge of not only maintaining general living expenses for herself and her 3 cats, but also paying off the mortgage of the house she bought last year with Tanner. Although Tanner's cremation expenses have been paid in full, Alexis will still need all the support she can get after losing her life partner unexpectedly during these unprecedented times.
Please note that since Alexis was furloughed in October, she has dedicated her time to her crochet business, @CroSheaCo. There will also be the opportunity to be recalled as a flight attendant for the months of February and March, but she will be furloughed again in April. Even then, with the loss of a life partner, Alexis is unsure if she will be emotionally ready to create for her business and/or go back to work.
Please consider donating to help Alexis, especially if you are a fellow small business owner. Alexis has brought so much light and happiness to the art world. Now, in her time of need, we should show our support in return. If you are unable to donate, please consider reaching out to Alexis, as kind words are appreciated as well.
