On Friday, April 24, 2026, our best friend Alexandria Reed lost her battle with depression and took her life that afternoon. It was a battle of over 6 years that she kept hidden from the world.

Alex was a bright, intelligent, creative, and caring young woman with a soft spot for animals and sweets. She was the type of person to sit with you and listen for hours as you rant about life. The one who would remember that one thing you said you like because you mentioned it once in passing. The who showed up everyday and cheer everyone on. She knew everything you liked and would spend hours making or picking out the perfect personalized birthday gift.

It was that very standard of perfection that she held for herself that caused her so much pain. Nothing she did, she saw was good enough. She compared her pain to others, as if depression picks who deserves to feel bad.

Alex was reported missing for 12 hours. Then found the following morning.

Her family needs help getting her funeral and service costs covered. As they all lived together in a rented 3 generation townhouse, money has always been tight. We are hoping to raise over $10,000 to help with costs for her funeral and other services that come up while her body is still with the forensics team.
