My name is Alexandra. My beautiful son, Lukas Jay was born August 1, 2025 at 23 weeks gestation. His first day of life, he was so strong and we were so full of hope. Unfortunately, by day two, he developed a grade 4 bilateral brain bleed and passed away. Lukas' dad, myself, and our families are devastated.

The planning we were doing for his upcoming baby shower, had to be shifted to his funeral service. And we are so thankful for the help we have received with that.

Typically, many families are able to purchase life insurance once their little ones get here. But Lukas not only came too early, but passed before we were able to do so.

Now we're saving up for his headstone. Lukas' father and I are both working, but like so many others in today's economy, saving up isn't easy. We've visited local headstone companies and we've been quoted at around $2000 for a proper stone. Any amount exceeding what is needed, we'd like to pay forward to a charity that helps other parents who find themselves in our situation.
