Support for Alex Perez Family

After fighting cancer for the past 14 months,  Alex Perez passed away last night surrounded by his loving family.  Alex has bravely gone through grueling treatments for over 13 months for lung and colon cancer that was diagnosed after he suffered a back injury last December.  The cancer was discovered while he prepared for back surgery.  Their faith in their God never failed Alex or Marilu during the last year, and he never complained or questioned "Why me"?  He simply put his fate in God's hands, and I am absolutely sure that he was welcomed into Heaven with choirs of angels awaiting him, as he was an angel on earth to everyone he knew.   Alex was the most giving person I have ever met, and his kindness and generosity were a blessing to anyone lucky enough to have known him.  He was hardworking and conscientious in all his endeavors, taking pride in his work and always doing so with a beautiful smile on his face.    Although he will be greatly missed, we are all relieved that his suffering has ended and he is at peace.  

His beautiful wife, Marilu, cared for him with the same grace that he displayed throughout this difficult journey.  Please contribute to this fund to help  with the funeral expenses, and to help Marilu  care for their children while she grieves her beloved husband and figures out how to move forward without Alex.  Thank you.
