Mary Cummings (June 18, 1928-March 2, 2020) is Alex's grandmother. For those who knew her, she was a kind and loving soul. Her smile lit up the room. Mary worked as a secretary at Western Costume in LA where she met the love of her life, Patrick Cummings. Alex and his sister Marin lived with their grandma Mary since they were young. In 1993 Mary and Patrick came to Tucson, Arizona to retire. They were joined by their daughter Deidre and her children Alex and Marin in 1997. Grandmother bought a house that they have called their home ever since. Grandma Mary peacefully passed away on March 2, 2020 in her home. Her grandchildren Alex and Marin, Alex's girl-friend Katie, and her mother Lisa Hernandez have been lovingly taking care of grandma Mary the last few years.

Alex started his career in real estate after he lost his mother to lung cancer/pulmonary fibrosis in December 2018. He is now a part of the Marsee Wilhems Real Estate Team. Taking care of his mother and grandmother through their illnesses has been financially draining. They now need help covering grandmother Mary's funeral expenses - $2000.

This family is also losing the only house in Tucson they have always called home, and where they all have been living for all these years. They will need to move very soon as the house belongs to the bank now. Alex, Marin, and Katie need your support through these difficult times. Even $10 will make a difference.
